61 Covid 19 patients identified in Sri Lanka

Another 61 Covid 19 patients identified today in Sri Lanka.

The Government Information Department said that the latest detections are linked to the Minuwangoda coronavirus cluster.

From among the patients, 03 are associates of the Minuwangoda apparel factory employees and were identified while in quarantine centres. The remaining 58 are associates of employees of the Minuwangoda factory.

The Ministry of Health conducted 8,161 PCR tests yesterday alone to detect new coronavirus patients in the country.
